PRESS RELEASE --- June 15th, 2010

New Breakthrough Machine can remove Scratches from Blu-Ray DVDs TM

(Mesa, Arizona) June 15th, 2010 – Azuradisc Inc., the original equipment manufacturer of optical disc repair products introduces another breakthrough in disc repair technology with the UNO™ Disc Repair Machine.

Everyone has a scratched CD or DVD, so why isn’t every store offering disc repair services to the public?

Industrial Grade Disc Repair machines have been around for more than a decade, however high quality machines that can remove deep scratches, leave a disc looking like new and can repair Blu-Ray Discs have been labor intensive or too expensive for most shop owners to offer a service to the public, that is until now.

Blu-Ray discs for example are hard-coated, but still get scratched, until now the only way to repair them was to use time consuming commercial grade buffing machines that often did not remove real scratches, each repair could take 8-10 minutes, and only remove light scuffs but not real scratches.

The New Uno industrial grade Disc Repair Machine uses several new technologies to achieve what every DVD Rental Store, Library and Pawn Shop and even the public has been waiting for. A machine that can Repair an average scratch from a DVD in 30 seconds, with a push of a single button at a new low price point of $1,495. Priced low enough and a packaged small enough, this machine is the first unit that is simple enough, small enough and tough enough to actually rent it out to the public for in home use.

Unlike other machines, there are no pads to change or polish to add during the process, making operation super easy. The operator simply places a disc into the machine closes the lid and pushes start. The discs are polished using an automatically timed liquid abrasive suspension technology called (A.T.L.A.S.T) that repairs the disc, and polishes it to like new. The liquid repair cartridge and pads last up to 220 discs before needing to be changed. An onboard computer tracks the usage and tells the operator when to change the supplies, making it easy to track the number of discs repaired if rented out.

Other competing machines cost upwards of $5,000 or more & use fixed micro abrasives that require special steps or software & knowledge to repair Blu-Ray discs, making it difficult and risky to repair Blu-Ray discs (I.E. accidently sanding a Blu-Ray can permanently damage the disc). The Uno Disc Repair Machine uses a single Blu-Ray Safe liquid abrasive process to repair Blu-Ray Discs as well as DVD discs, making it far easier, faster and less expensive to repair all types of discs. Don’t know if that disc is Blu-Ray or not? Well it doesn’t matter to the Uno.

A long list of new automatic features are built into this machine, such as Auto-Mixing that eliminates the need to shake or mix the liquid along with a micro radiator system to keep the disc cool during repairs. But the most impressive feature is that all disc types come out looking shiny & new, thanks to an revolutionary finishing process.

The list price for the UNO Disc Repair machine is $1,495; Real Disc repair has never been this simple and inexpensive. Machines will begin shipping August 2010.

PRESS RELEASE --- January 5th, 2009

Azuradisc Officially debuts THE DUAL DISC 2.0TM

(Chandler, Arizona) January 5th, 2009 – Azuradisc Inc., the original equipment manufacturer of optical disc repair products, introduces a new professional disc repair machine: The Azuradisc DUAL DISC 2.0™ repair machine with Auto Dry™ Technology.

Twice as fast than its Predecessor the "Dual Disc repair machine", the Dual Disc 2.0™ is able to simultaneously return two scratched discs back to like-new condition with easier operation than ever before and now at speeds up to 240 discs per hour.

The operator puts one or two scratched discs into the machine and presses either 30, 60, 90, 120 or 180 second time buttons. The machine auto starts and auto stops, the discs are dry and shiny like new just a quick wipe and they are ready to be placed back in their case.

With its repair capability of up-to 240 discs per hour, this machine is the world's fastest desktop disc repair machine, doubling the speed of the previous record holder (the original Dual Disc, which could repair 120 per hour). The throughput varies from 40 to 240 discs per hour depending on the time cycle selected. No other desktop disc repair machine even comes close to these speeds, additionally this new version provides a perfect finish on all disc types, including Blu-Ray.

Using Azuradisc Auto Dry Technology, the Dual Disc 2.0™ repair machine automatically performs a drying cycle at the end of the repair process to remove the liquid form the discs. This contrasts with the usual result of most single-stage machines that leave the disc soaking wet, covered with dirty slurry or with significant drips at the end of their repair cycle.

The machine repairs 2 discs without needing to change the polishing head. A new Azuradisc liquid, called Policool™, is continuously recirculated to provide both the polishing action and the required cooling. A single bottle of Policool can repair up to 800 discs before replacement which also sets another new record for desktop disc repair machines.

The New Dual Disc 2.0 is also the first machine designed specifically to repair Blu-Ray discs faster and better than any machine on the market, boasting an amazing ability to remove scratches from hard coated Blu-Ray discs, leaving no swirl marks, a perfect finish, 2 discs in 1 minute (or less for average scratches).

The introductory list price for the Dual Disc repair machine is $ 2,495.00 and machines will ship at the end of January 2009.
